Old Judge Spirits - the falernum of our choice

Anyone who has anything to do with the Austrian bar scene knows Markus Altrichter and his Old Judge Falernum. The lovely Markus will be doing a guest shift with us on June 5, 2020 and conjuring up some delicious Falernum cocktails with us. If God wills, with a small outdoor bar in our guest garden. We have taken this guest appearance as an opportunity to introduce Markus and Old Judge Spirits a little, why we work with his products and also to convey a little history about Falernum.

Mezcal, also known as mescal, is a spirit that originally comes from Mexico. The term is derived from the words "metl", meaning agave, and "ixcalli", meaning to cook or bake. The first written documents about mezcal date back to 1621 and were written by Domingo Lazaro de Arregui.

Talisker Whisker is a Scottish whiskey. The distillery is located on the Isle of Skye between two hills. The whiskey is advertised with the slogan "Made by the sea". The distillery's core bottlings include a 10-year-old whiskey, an 18-year-old whiskey and a 25-year-old variety. The distillery also releases the Distiller's Edition once a year.
